Terms and Conditions

• PLEASE! No smoking in any of the rooms.
• Check-in time is 3 pm. Check-out time is 12 am. Any exceptions must be approved in advance and may be subject to additional fees.
• A minimum of 2 nights for lodging is required for deposit.
• Balance is due 45 days prior to arrival
• No refund if cancellation is within 30 days of arrival date.
• Trip insurance is always advised.
• Water and electricity are expensive on Curacao. Please do all you can to minimize your use of these costly items.
• Always turn off Air Conditioning when leaving your unit.  The rooms cool down very quickly if air-conditioning is needed.
• Please watch your children closely. MDR and it's employees cannot be held responsible for injury to unattended young people.
• Please stay off of walls and cliffs near the sea and avoid the many cactus plants on the island.
• Marazul Dive Resort is for the use of owners and registered guests only. Any day guest must register with the resort manager and there is a $15.00 per day fee.
  Please check with the office before inviting any unregistered guests to visit you.
• Charcoal grills are not permitted.
• If available, please use the safe in your room for all valuables. Keep doors and windows locked when leaving the premises.
  Do not leave unattended valuables sitting on outside furniture.
• Do not "save" lounge chairs by the pool. In consideration of other guests, please remove towels and other personal items from the chairs and tables when leaving the pool area.
• Please do not smoke in the pool area as this a detriment to the quality of the relaxation of other guests.
• All keys must be returned upon departure.There is a charge per lost key and/or per lost/broken "gate remote control" .
• "Quiet hours" at MDR is from 9 pm till 8 am.
• No pets allowed
• Please do not hang clothes and towels on the furniture and railings. If you need a drying rack, please request one, free of charge, from the office. Drying racks should only be used on the balcony as far out of sight from other guests as possible.
• Trash bins are available for your use. Please help us to keep MDR clean and beautiful by properly disposing of your trash (and any other that you see).
• Guests are obligated to pay for any loss or damage to Resort property, caused by themselves, family members or guests.
• Guests must observe these rules and regulations and should be considerate of the needs of other guests so that all visitors to MDR can enjoy the beauty of the Resort and the Island. In the event that any guest is in violation of any of these rules or causes problems with other guests,
  management or employees, MDR reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and remove the guest and his/her possessions without compensation or return of any advance payment.
